This wine has been sourced from the Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley (near Hermanus) and encapsulates the true characteristics of a classic Pinot Noir. The wine is rich and full bodied with beautiful wooded nose, filled with black cherries and forest floor. On the palate the richness of the nose carries through and leaves a long finish of sour cherries and raspberries.

Winemaking Notes:
The Grapes were harvested from various blocks in the Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley and then fermented separately in steel tanks with pump overs three times a day. Once fermentation was completed the wine was moved to barrels. After aging the wine in French Oak barrels for 12 months the best four barrels were chosen and blended together and bottled shortly afterwards.
