The name of our winery speaks for itself:
L as in lasting
Y as in yummy
N as in notable
X as in xenial
Our efforts are deeply rooted in our aim for the highest quality. We have a clear idea of what quality means to us: we want to produce handcrafted, culture- inspired wines that above all reflect their origin – authentic wines that radiate pure joie de vivre and reflect the stylistic diversity of our winery.
We divide our wines into three quality levels:
Flagship
Our absolute top wine is the Spirit of Lynx that embodies everything we stand for: power, passion, energy and the pursuit of perfection. It is a classic Bordeaux blend made with care and patience. We mature this wine for at least 18 months in oak barrels and another 6 months in the bottle. It is only produced in exceptional years and the release is strictly limited.
Reserve Range
In the Reserve Range, the wines mature for at least 12 months in oak barrels and another 6 months in the bottle. Once the wine has reached its maturity it comes on sale with a great cellaring potential. In the Reserve Range we only produce a few hundred bottles of each wine.
Lynx Range
In our Lynx Range you will find entry-level wines that are now ready to drink. The Range gives you a good idea of our variety of easy drinking wines.

OUR VINEYARD
At our winery, we have an uncompromising commitment to the grapes which we harvest by hand. Our knowledge acquired over the years in the wine cellar, combined with the experience of nature, vines and wine production, are the building blocks of our quality standards and ensure that our wines are top notch. Our goal is to produce a selection of expressive wines that reflect both our unique terroir and the passion of our cellar master and his small team.
On Lynx we use the so-called Vertical Shoot Positioning (VSP) on all our vines. This means that all shoots are bound in such a way that they grow vertically upwards. This grants us that all leaves get the full sun either in the morning or in the afternoon, which is essential for the successful ripening of the grapes.
THE WINE CELLAR
At Lynx,
we have made it our mission
to create wines
that will remain in the memory for a long time to come.
In our wine cellar we still use many traditional appliances such as the open concrete tanks for fermenting the grapes or the hand-operated basket press. The open tanks give us the unique taste of our grapes, which we are so well known for.
In addition, we do the so-called Punch Downs. Here, the grapes are crushed by hand at regular intervals, so that we receive a controlled fermentation.
We use both steel tanks and French oak barrels in our wine cellar, with all our reds ripening in the latter.
WINE-TEAM
Our employees not only do their job – they live with the wine and for the wine. Our cellar master Helgard and his team take care of our vines with heart, hand and mind to achieve the optimal result. Out of conviction and respect for nature, we care for our vineyards. This is the prerequisite for first-class outputs, from uncomplicated wines for daily occasions to the characterful top-of-the-range product for special occasions. We have employees who fully identify with our ideas and goals and pull together with us. At Lynx we have one aim: To inspire our customers and all those who want to become one with our wines.
